Probably won't affect running but go to a doctor to get cause diagnosed.

How old are you?
I mean if you're just a teenager its normal to get the occasional spot that turns into a boil.If not you may be run down IMO.

You should be able to sort it out with a poultice. Just pick up some magnesium sulphate paste in a chemist, paste it on and bandage it up and leave for maybe 24 hours. If required, repeat.
