Sore Knees

    Hi,

been doing the C25K running program for three weeks now and overall its going really well, the only thing is that my knees are quite sore, below the knee cap and towards the inner leg. Its not so bad that I have stopped and I am spacing out the days, was just wondering how common this is in people's experience?

    Any comments greatly appreciated.....

    Thanks!

I had the same problem, accompanied by numb toes, when I started running. It turned out that my runners were ill-fitting (specifically, too tight across the toes) so I went to a specialist running shop to get my gait analysed and bought proper shoes. Problem solved :D

Obviously I have no idea if this is the root of your problem, but if you haven't been fitted for proper running shoes, it may well be. I got mine from Amphibian King in Bray and highly recommend them :)
