Hercs hardly has a focus on cardio and free weights, it's mostly just free weights.

I'm trying to think of other gyms in the city centre that have both. There's always Crunch on the Quays but I don't think they're too great for the weights.

Theyve got 4 treadmills, 2 cross trainers, 2 stationery bikes, 1 rower theres enough equip there to focus on cardio if you wanted!

Not if you go in the evening after work when it's jammers. It's also damn near imposible to park in. If I was looking for a gym that's good for cardio I'd probably go elsewhere!!

Jackie Skelly Fitness on Clarendon Street are ok.

Their billing and sales tactics are a bit scummy, but if you give your two months notice on month ten of your twelve month contract, you'll be fine.

    Check out markievicz leisure centre.
Its beside Tara street station. It s not huge but if your not going at the peak times its fine. Has a squat rack and a smith machine. It is pretty busy between 5-7 though.
Its only €6 a go so you can always try it out.
