    Hi Folks,

I'm using a national semi. data sheet and from one figure to the next they have the wiring different for each as in the ADC vcc pin 20, vin + pin 6 & pin 7 vin- which on the next figure has them as data inputs therefore the chip can't be powered, also the Vref is off.
Am I looking at it wrong or what???
As for the DAC i'm kinda lost!!
    Any idea's
    Thanks

had a quick look at that data sheet, yea pins 7 & 6 are the differential inputs for the input voltage you are trying to measure. The IC is powered by the Vcc pin, pin 20, and the AGND / DGND pins.

It shouldn't be too difficult to wire up and get working... I used to use these back in the day connected up to a PC printer port, as i couldn't afford ADC cards.
