    Hi all!
After hearing many recommendations about the starting strength book on this board i am in the process of ordering it.It says it is a book for coaching beginners.I dont really need to coach anyone but myself.I'd consider myself a beginner in weight training. Can anyone who owns this book tell me about it in this regard?

The first edition of SS was aimed at coaches. The second edition is aimed more at beginning lifters.

Yeah I've been reading the first edition. There is an incredible amount of useful information there for the trainee, despite being aimed at coaches. Get ready to start drinking some whole milk!
