First player gone, Martin O Rafferty limped with the queens and the SB raised. 2 callers before Martin and he flat called. The flop came Q 5 3, SB bets out Martin raises and SB reraises, Martin gives it one more tickle and SB calls, 3 on the turn, all-in from SB, Martin calls and of course he is shown 33.

Second man gone with 30 minutes left in the first level. Martin Green played for a raise with AK of hearts and flopped a flush draw on a jack high flop and called the bet from the original raiser, heart on the turn had him smiling but the the board paired on the river and the raiser showed JJ.

Another player gone. Barry Mc Philips went out the old fashioned way, running his kings into Michael McKeever's AA. Michael called the raise from Barry freflop, Barry bet out 500 on the 10 high flop and Michael raised to 1800, after a long think Barry pushed all in for a total of 10075 and Mike called instantly, blanks on the turn and river and Michael has a nice stack heading into level 2

Len Collin has just be in a mighty little hand. In the BB with the entire table limping for 100, Len raises with 97 to 300 and gets a couple of callers. Flop comes 963 with 2 diamonds. Len bet out 1500 and the guy next to speak makes it 3000 and Lens straps on an pair and shoves all in, get called, and he actually stopped and said "****". The bad guy shows the nut flush draw, but no diamond comes, or any of his over cards, and lucky Len has doubled up.

Oh she's a dangerous little thing that Annette. She raises to 350 in mid position and gets called by the Frenchman in the SB, the flop comes QJ3, he checks, she bets 550 and he calls, J on the turn and it goes, check, check. the river comes a complete blank and again it is check. She flips over AA and the extremely sick looking frenchman shows QJ. Those chips are going to be hard won boys.

i wonder how the hand would play out if the frenchy lead the flop???

Paul Fitzpatrick, who had earlier doubled up Len Collin, has just lost what was left of his chips. On a J106 board he reraised, Ken "The Rock" Burgess, who had up until now only shown AA, and was unsurprisingly called, Kens J10 was more than a match for Pauls J8

Mike O Donoghue has just gone in one of those horrible set over set hands. With 66 on a 765 flop he got it all-in against Keith McFaddens 77. Ugly for Mike, but Keith is delighted to take down a pot with over 25000 in it, bringing him up to 32000.

Gary Clarke is now our chip leader with circa 50k after winning a pot with AK vs JJ by flopping KKK! He is sittin to the right of Vesty who could well be 2nd in chips with circa 35k. This table also has Kevin 'Lovejoy' O Leary and Connie O Sullivan.

We have lost the first of the Galway players, the bad guy raised to 450 and jude reraised to 1250 with JJ, flop came J73, check and check, turn an 8 and the bad guy bets and Jude Calls, river an Ace, bet from the Bad guy, all-in from Jude and oops the bad guy has 109.
