Vegetarianism

I was just reading the Subway topic and saw a veg thing mentioned, so I was just wondering, how many of you are actually vegetarian?

If so, by choice or religion??

I am anyway, by choice!

Also what do you think of it?
Do you agree with it or think it's absolutely stupid?

In my honest opinion I don't understand why people plod around saying meat is murder, trying to force people into it. I'm veggie because I don't like the thought of animals being bred for meat, but unlike some veggies I know, I don't care whether you decide to eat meat or not. Because it's your choice.

I have come across vegetarians who try to make people do it and it's so stupid.

So, thoughts?

My older brother was a vegetarian once but then he started eating meat out of concerns for his growth. He's a couple of inches shorter than me and I'm still growing.

Never heard of a link between meat consumption and height, he's probably just shorter than you lol!

I'm a vegetarian, became one when I learned the method in which cattle and pigs, etc are actually killed in Ireland/UK. Horrifying stuff.

I mainly eat meat, would like to get more veggies into my diet......

what would you recommed, I started today off with sausage, bacon, egg, marmalade, sugar, butter, toast, weetabix and shrooms.....finished the day with a homemade stake and cheese pitza....

suggest a semi - vegetarian menu for tomorrow, you can use a little bit of meat if you like , i'll be eating it....

I hate all vegetables. If humans were meant to be veggies, then vegetables wouldn't taste like crap. Similarly if we weren't supposed to eat animals, they wouldn't taste so damn good.

Not saying eating meat is wrong.
As I said I don't care whether you eat meat or not.
I just happen to disagree with eating it :P

Wild carnivores eat meat out of necessity, because what else could they eat?
Humans on the other hand have the choice.
