    Hi Guys

Just a quick question about protein. I usually take a protein shake only after I've exercised, but I've now increased my regime to 4 days a week in the gym and I was wondering would there be any benefits in taking the shakes while I'm training or on off days also???

depends, if you getting 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight prob no need, but if your not and you dont want to eat solid food to get the above you can take additional protein shakes, i currently take 2 per day on none training days - one with breakfast and one before bed, training days i take the additional one after training.

Thanks, I'm just wondering about the protein to weight issue. Does it really have to be this high and I presume I include my protein form my regular diet with this ratio?
