    Hi all,

PRO of the IMVG here, just wanted to let you know that you can get discounted tickets online at www.tickets.ie

The show is shaping up really well, there looks to be close to 60 military vehicles which doesn't include the PDF/RDF display. Along with this there will be reenactments from various different periods of history and a lot more militaria than at last years show.

I dont know about this now, getting lost isnt my idea of a day in the 'big shmoke' :P

Did anyone read the 'rules' for the event?

Event takes place hail, rain or shine so dress appropriately.

No dogs allowed that are not on a leash / muzzled.

No bebo guns allowed on the premises.

Tickets are available at the gate each day.

    Parking is free.

A copy of History Ireland is free to entrants "while stocks last".

What the hell is a 'bebo' gun??

We don't have bb (or bebo) guns. But, it probably refers to members of the public. Afterall, there is going to be a lot more at the show than simple bb guns, like artillery pieces and real steel guns.

Retailers as far as I'm aware only sell the AEG's in sealed boxes and the buyers are instructed not to open them until they got home.

airsoft devices are a bit more accessible thought :)

I was talking to Paul (HRTA) and he has confirmed for me that this applies to plonkers bringing kit on to the site who are not part of a demonstration and possibly a restriction on commercial trading (vis a vie open boxes or kit).

So, same rules as for T4BB it seems, which makes sense.

Any bus from Heuston Stn to city centre.

    Bus routes 33 33a 33b 41 41a 41b 41c 41x 43, most from Middle Abbey St. to Swords.

Get off at the Cloughran roundabout, after the airport, before Swords village. NSC is pretty big, you can see it from the road, on the right. Sit upstairs on the bus, you can't miss it.

    Sunday is the busiest day.

It's gonna be great. There are 3 airsoft related tents (Shop + PR/display + shooting range). There is a killhouse on the demo zone, along with some camo'd pallets which look like bushes (they are really good).

There ton's of great vehicles, guns, aircraft/artillery & shops. I think it's 10 euro in or 50 euro for a family ticket. Well worth it in my opinion.

Eeek! Look at the time! I need to get to bed. Early start tomorrow.
