Has anyone joined jjb through their website?
I called into the gym in Limerick today to see how much they charge.
I was given a leaflet quoting €310 for 6 months inc joining fee ie €51 a month.
If you join online it costs £209.90 for 6 months inc joining fee ie €260 (xe.com)
Seems like a no brainer to me, even though i am still worried about how busy people say it is in the evenings

Im actually leaving the Limerick branch cos its so busy!!! You have to fight to get a treadmill and you may aswell forget even using the weight machines from 5.30-7pm!!! The classes used be very good then they changed them all around and have the good classes on around 7pm which when you work 9-5.30 its not that great! I think im gonna try UL next cos at least you can do a step class if you dont feel like the gym.

Check JJB out before you commit though, if they do a trial or anything. Judge for yourself! :)

Looks like a good deal alright.... I was surprised to see the Irish gyms on that list of gyms to join online.

supermouse: I go in the morning before work, or at lunchtime. Its far to busy in the evenings (and no hope of doing a nice intense weights program because you're waiting so much)

Im going to UL at the moment for the summer months and its not too busy but when the students come back it will be as bad as anywhere,
I keep hearing how the facilities in JJB are great but also how busy it can be so i can decide to be honest,
As far as i know there are not many quality alternatives to these two, except for hotel gyms which i find to be overpriced and not worth it!
    Decisions, decisions!!!!
