Morgan Freeman in serious condition after car crash

Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman was seriously injured in a car accident in Mississippi on Sunday night according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

Police report that Freeman, 71, was driving eastbound on Highway 32 near the town of Ruleville, Miss., around 11:30 p.m. when his car left the road and flipped several times.

Police say Freeman and a female passenger had to be extracted from the vehicle and the actor was flown to Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., where he was listed in serious condition. There was no word on the condition of the passenger.

TMZ.com is reporting that state troopers say "The Dark Knight" star was talking at the scene of the accident.

HE was the leader of a racist,terrorist cell of bandits and murderers.

Yep, I've always thought it's inappropriate that it's under Arts too. It doesn't sit properly alongside categories like Film, TV and Radio at all. Queried it when the forum was being set up but there was never any debate or discussion or anything on it. Might start one now.

God I got some fright when I read this thread as I had a dream about Morgan Freeman dying a few weeks after watching the Bucket List, I absolutely love the man, he is just the definitive actor, he evokes so much emotion from the parts he plays, I absolutely love the guy, and would cry many tears if he died..
