TBH Miller would be a biggie :D shortly followed by Bank of Ireland and Dell. Hows about you :D

On a side note its scary how a brand name absorbs itself into everyday life..... Scary in the sense that you cant get by with out using same in one form or another....

but thats not by choice. It annoys me having a big tick symbol on my feet and gym bag,i already paid for these products,i didn't sign up for advertising as well!Although,to negate all the above,i do wear band t-shirts and hoodies. But that is pretty much a conscious decision to pimp a product.

I can't think of a single brand that I couldn't replace with an adequate substitute if it went out of existence. Examples: if Heineken went bust I'd drink Carlsberg and it wouldn't effect my life in the slightest. I drive a Ford but I'd happily drive numerous other brands of car. I could definitely switch banks, mobile providers etc. without casting a thought

:P sometimes i see posts in posts and get mixed up with what's said, I guess I pictured the fact that the masses just use dell(or any other brand notebook)as posh-**** apparatus primarily.

    Dell+Durex = posh ****!

Proraso (I love a good shave, it's nearly ritualistic)
Clinique (ok, so I'm a bit metro)
BSN (I take my training seriously)
Apple (ok, so I use a Macbook Pro, but am a heavy ipod user)
Bose (amazing sound, I hate when I forget my earphone and borrow a crap pair)
O2 (change my phone every few months, but always stay with O2)
Crunch (it's a gym, not sure if you'd count it as a brand as such)

Is boards a brand?? yes Dev I love you too!!!
    Oh, yeah Mrs. Gillo

Thinking about it, I'd definitely buy on the strength of a brand, I agree some of it is marketing hype but if i find something works well for me I'll stick with that brand, having said that I wouldn't buy something because a celeb endorses it.

    nuts.

I don't think they actually have nuts in them, but are made in a factory where products containing nuts are also manufactured, so cross contamination may occur. Some people have really severe nut allergies that can be triggered by the slightest exposure to nuts. They're covering their asses TBH!;)

I dont like red sauce but if i did i would choose the tesco one.

Favourite brand = samsung. Great quality products, cheap prices.

Least favourite = Microsoft. Xbox360 is notoroiously unreliable crap, which they should have gotten right by now.

I think samsung are so good because they manufacture everything themselves, including semiconductors.

Microsoft (XBox 360, NOT their operating systems)

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 7,486 ✭✭✭Red Alert

    Lyon's Tea
    M&S (Meals and clothes)
    Superquinn (love their pizza's)
Apple (MacBook Pro, old iPod, new iPod Classic, iPhone 3G, Apple TV)
Polo Jeans (very durable and cheap if you know where to get them)
