Mr. Myagi Vs Rocky

Just sitting around on a lazy sunday afternoon, shooting the **** with a few people. All pretty chilled, while watching Rocky IV on TV.

Then one of them steps right over the line.

Says he "Rocky is probably the best fighter who ever lived".

Says I "He is in his gee. My Myagi brought Danielson to greatness, while also suppressing the rise of the evil cobra-kai dojo chain"

Says he "No way, Tallaght01. Rocky would bate that oulfella, no bother".

I'm thinking of fighting this bloke meself, to defend the honour of the late, great Myagi.

But just wanted to check that we're all in agreement before it all kicks off here.

I my opinion, Rocky used to just get battered everytime he stepped into the ring and then he'd win with a lucky punch as soon as he heard the inspirational music starting.

Whereas no-one ever came close to landing a punch on Myagi in 3 movies.

It would depend on the dsicipline. Karate, yes - I'm with the rest of you - Miyagi hands down.

But slap a par of gloves on him and limit the contact to Queensbury Rules and I think either Rocky or it's gonna be a looooooong and boring fight.

Exactly, and Miyago owuldn't be fighting for titles and money, like Rocky.

He'd beat Balboa's arse, purely to defend an orphanage or something, then he'd tell him that they're both losers because they had to fight.
