Good to be back at 3m,

I downgraded from 3 to 2 a while back for two reasons, first was the latency concerns I was hearing about with the 7m upgrade because gaming is important with us and secondly Eircom don’t do the Home Professional package in a bundle.

Only lost 2 DB noise margin after the upgrade. So like others have experienced, the upgrade estimators don't seem to be accurate.

Pings are quadrupled though. It's going to be ****é for gaming

Ouch on the ping... Just upgraded this morning I think, so hopefully it'll settle down a bit. Not exactly a great boost in download speed either, but not sure how many of the other computers in the house are on and active right now.

Previously my pings to boards would be ~15ms. I am also getting LOTS of disconnects while gaming. I am not happy with the upgrade at all tbh and will probably either request a downgrade as I am paying for what was branded as a premium service. If a rollback was available I would take that too as previously the service was fine.
