I can never think of answers to these types of questions unless i've seen the movie recently.. But one that springs to mind...

American Psycho: The axe scene with Paul Allen. A masterpiece! Everytime i watch that movie i have to re watch that scene a few times before continuing on.

    As above I can't really think of anything unless I've seen the film recently, but funnily enough I was just thinking about this one earlier even though I haven't watched the film for a couple of years now;

The dream sequence at the end of Raising Arizona

going to go with what first popped into my head and not overthink this question:

The lobby scene in the Matrix: Sure the series went downhill in the sequels and sure its been copied a hundred times since, but I still remember that moment when Neo walks through the metal detector opens his jacket and all hell breaks loose like it was yesterday.

The T-Rex attack in Jurassic Park. It made me realise what cinema was capable of and I fell in love with it. My hairs still stand on end when I watch it now.

This is one of my favourite scenes in any movie. *should say it contains blood, for those of an overly sqeamish nature*

The card scene on the train in 'The Sting'

I've never seen anyone play a drunk better than Newman did in that particular scene

This ranks up with the best of them. While the film is nothing like the games and enjoyable in a switch off your brain manner, this one scene alone makes the DVD worth owning.

While I like the idea of homaging the game, I really thought that scene was poorly done. It is never fun watching someone else play a game, and that scene felt like that. Good idea, but like the rest of the film pretty badly handled.

As for classic scenes? The Lost Highway party scene for sheer madness, a certain moment in Cache for shock factor, the beach house scene near the end of Eternal Sunshine (a close to perfect sequence) are some that come to mind.

jules giving the superfly tnt speech in pulp fiction
the decks in the window of the tower block in la heine
loads of scenes in city of god, when lil dice decides to kill the competition, the riot bit near the end when the photo is taken
    travis bickle and the mirror

I love the scene with JF Sebastian and Roy Batty in the lift in Blade Runner, the look on their faces. Milk and Cookies keep you awake?
Also the scene where he's chasing Zora with the trafficator going "Walk now. Walk now. Don't walk. Don't walk" and the Hare Kristnas.

Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver going to the porno theatre. "Do you have Ju Jubes, they last longer. Chuckles maybe?" ha ha when I went to NYC I got some Ju Jubes and Chuckles to see what they were like.

Raiders of the Lost Ark map room sequence is the one of the most perfect fusion of visuals and music.

    +1 Great scene!

The big running battle/escape scene in Children Of Men (towards the end) is cinematic perfection as far as i'm concerned.

i've posted this before but i love it.

corridor fight scene from oldboy, done all in one take.

looks like an old side scoller game!

and the music is awesome too

2 Spring to mind for me one classic and one very random

Classic: Pre match Speech from al Pacino in any given sunday, makes you want to do whatever you are doing better.

Random: In Gangs of new york there is a scene with brendan Gleeson and Daniel Day Lewis where they meet on the street and have a little banter about BG sticking his watch to a lamp post its just at the very end BG says "someday" i always liked it.

Closing scene in Buffalo 66, I nearly cried
The "town called Malice" scene in Billy Elliot
Igby ringing all his mother's friends in "igby goes down"
John Cusack and Angelica huston at the end of "the grifters"
And (obvious, but whatever) Mr White doing his dance in reservoir dogs

The final scene of Godfather Pt 2, where Michael is in the boathouse and Fredo's on the lake. Scary stuff,

Any Given Sunday - Pacino's pre match speech
Apocalypse Now - Final climactic scene
Star Trek First Contact - Picard Borg Speech
Good Will Hunting - When they are sitting on the park bench and Williams explains to Damon how little he actually knows about real life.

Many more but can't think of them right now

The scene in the Jerk where Navin Johnson (Steve Martin) gets his name in the phone book, then it cuts to some pyscho putting a pin into the phone book looking to shoot 'some random b*stard.'

    Brilliant.

Or the scene in Blazing Saddles where the townsfolk are awaiting the new sheriff and the bell keeps ringing drowning out the frontier gibberish guy on the roof.

    'The Sheriff is a n..*bong*'

Couldnt get way with it now today.

    true..

eg of a coolest moment in a movie would be for example where Neo tells Morpheus "I know Kung -Fu"

Favourite scene would be the Neo vs Smith fight scene.

"#1" in Kill Bill Volume 1

It was refreshing how the bride just knocked on the door and went straight at Vernita. None of the usual back story "you were mean to me, so im gna kill you now" crap

Mulholland Drive: Limo winding up Mulholland, I had a dream about this place, 16 reasons why I love you, (Director and Betty lock eyes) and so many more scenes.

    Batman (1989): Batman's 1st appearance, "WHAT ARE YOU?!"....."I'm Batman",
Joker's first appearance "And as you can see, I'm alot happier..."

Heat: When Val Kilmer sees the cops across the road as he's about to get into the car, smiles and opens fire.

The Godfather: When Don Corleone mocks Johnny Fontane for crying. "You can act like a man!!"

Swingers: "Always double down on 11!!"

Favourite scene, opening of saving private ryan, well the beach scene!

    The devils advocate,
Mr Reeves walks out of the hospital, camera pans up to reveal an empty new york.
It was a hairs standing up goosebumps moment when i first saw it on the big screen.

But as somebody already said if i haven't seen it recently ill forget, the two that always pop into my head if im asked the question.

The scene in High Anxiety were Harvey Korman is standing behind Mel Brooks while he comforts womon on couch who has anxiety . Korman inserts some vampire teeth in his mouth and pulls these vampire ridiculous expressions at the womon , totally freaking her out .

It is a hilarious and never fails to make me laugh

There will be blood: Opening scene: No dialogue, just creepy music and Daniel Day viciously pounding the pickaxe into the rocky wall of the tunnel. Breaks his leg but grits his teeth and crawls back to the foundry! Classic!
