I dont know where but I've heard of this a few times before, sounds horrific.

It happens to me regularly and it always leaves me feeling unsettleda and anxious for a couple of days afterwards. With me my teeth become loose in my gums then they crumble and fall out. I nearly always wake up trying to test if my teeth are loose with my tongue. It's horrible.

Op apparently it means your not seizing your opportunities.

Used to get them a lot during my first year in college when i was a waster.
    Heard it on the TV.

you need to take control of your life and they'll go away apparently.

I get these dreams too, they're terrible.

Not getting them much now as I'm not 'seizing my opportunities' anymore, with a girl I want to be with :D.

So maybe thats a great interpretation. :)

They are one of the commonest reoccurring dreams about, and several theories abound on what they signify.

My personal favourite is the dream points to some personal insecurity suppressed by the conscious mind.

I.E. Teeth, for mammals, have always historically been the primary defense mechanism.

I also think that dreams of tooth loss can also be symbolic of a fear of growing old.

BTW - 6th - You don't happen to drive a car starting with the registration "00-LH", do you?

I get them often. It's a really terrible dream. Sometimes they don't fall out but are on the verge of falling. It's like I want to keep it because if it's out, I'll never have another one but the pain of keeping it is really irritating because it's all loose. It's a very annoying dream and I wish I knew why I had them.

Oh yep, I used to get that alll the time when I was a kid... that one and the car driving backwards down the road with only me in it and having no control, haha.

But the teeth one is horrible... mine would always sonsist of me banging my mouth off something or other. BAM out go my teeth!

Someone told me you get those sort of dreams when your stressed out. Dont know how true that is

I used to get that dream regularly as well. A long time ago. At the time I had not been to a dentist for years and years, and I knew I needed to go and dreaded the experience, as I had a bad experience with a dentist as a kid. Anyway, I finally screwed up the courage and went to the dentist, and it was fine, and every year I go for a check up, no problems so far touch wood, and I have never hard the dream since! - so maybe ou need to go to the dentist, or whatever it is you are afraid of doing?

I've been getting these teeth falling out dreams a lot lately. They are so horrible, scary really. I'm at a bit of crossroads in my life so it could be the whole 'not seizing the opportunities. Hope it stops though.

I think this is a classic anxiety dream. I've woken in a panic a few times with this dream. It seems so real at the time.

I think it is about worry personally, you are worried about something and it comes out like this.

I too used to wake up in a sweat checking to see if they were all there! Stress dream me thinks..

I've had two kinds of "teeth falling out" dreams. Once, only once, my teeth were crumbling and it was like the magic porridge pot, they kept almost bubbling up in my mouth and spilling out.

I have plenty of dreams where my teeth fall out seperately. I get a really intense pain that throbs worse and worse and worse until the tooth falls out. Then it happens again to another tooth and then another and another. My jaw would nearly lock because I'd be completely aware of what's going on and be half-thinking "save the tooth!" and half-thinking "Let the tooth go and the pain will stop."

I'm a bit surprised that lately I've had a fair few dreams where I've been able to feel pain. I've always had sporadic ones featuring teeth but one night not so long ago my arms were in agony in a dream. It was monsterous! I was in pain but I couldn't awake from it. I would not be at all surprised if these "pain" dreams were to do with stress.

How common is it to feel pain while asleep?

I've also gotten this dream once or twice. My teeth become loose, (like when you are a child) and I'm struggling to get to a dentist to get it fixed before they fall out. Inevitably they fall out though. It's a horrible dream alright.

I was always told it was a sign of pregnancy. A ex of mine was really paranoid about it (signifying she was pregnant) however I'm a bloke, so I guess that says it all!

Last night I dreamt I was hiding from a ghost in a corridor, any ideas on that one 6th? ;)

Where there doors along the corridor?

i always get the loosing teeth dream as well! apparently it means you feel out of control in a situation. Whenever I have the teeth dream Ill usually have it for a few days in a row. Another variation I have is that Im chewing gum but I cant spit it out,That it stays stuck to my teeth. No matter how hard I try to remove it from my mouth theres always a bit intwined between my teeth that wont be moved. Bizarre i know.....but it always gets to me!:(

I get this dream quite often, it's one of the worst dreams I've ever had.. Last night I had a dream about me and my brother being chased and shot at by mexican vigilante's.. the tooth one was way worse!

The other one I get is of me falling down the stairs and I always wake up instantly :(
