    "The Poker Room Ireland with The Fitzwilliam Card Club"

    We will be running a charity event on September 13, 2008 @ 4pm.

    the charity we will be supporting "Console" (The Console is a registered charity supporting and helping people bereaved through suicide)

    ~the entry fee will be 140 euro with the break down as follows;- 100 euro to prize pool, 35 euro to the charity and 5 euro to cover costs.

    ~ No limit Texas Hold'em - Freeze out
    ~10,000 starting chips and 25 minute clock
    ~All blind levels and house rules run by the fitzwilliam.
    ~this will be a ticket only event limited to 140 players
    ~Sponsors for this event will be former irish open winners "Christy Smith and Jenny Hagerty"

    we run pub touraments on the northside of dublin and every one of our pubs ar going to post a advert in this programm and going to ask the likes of the card clubs around to sponsor add and console hve already got 5 adverts for me. we hope to raise 7000 euro for console. regards jim thepokerroom ireland

    Next time i'm in the the fitz I'll have a quick chat with Paul Cryan and give him the buyins. Whenever Paul puts his name to something it's always 100%.

    I don't know if alot of you know here but the memorial Tropy above is in respect of Eamonn and Willow Connolly's son, Christopher. "Console" is a registered charity supporting and helping people bereaved through suicide

    Im note sure if many of you got the connection but Christy smith is Willows uncle, so I think that we should all get behind this charity event, it is for a very good cause. Christy Smith can be contacted at 01-8316171
    or alternatively register you interest here and arrange to go to the Fitz to pick up tickets.

    Console are a great and very worthy charity. I have raised money for them in the past as have several of my colleagues. Unfortunately i will be away when this event comes around but good luck with it.

    well guys just been on the phone to christy he tells me we have sold out all the adverts for the program as it is going to print tomorrow, the 20 page program will be given out free on the night. from very ones help we raised 1000 euro for console from the program thank you all for your kind support regards jim the poker room ireland
