How to install TomTom 6 on Pocket Pc running windowsCE?

I ruined the memory card originally with the device, but i had backed up the files on it. How do i get the pocket pc to run these files and use the tomtom software again? Also what is the differance between a pocket pc and a pda?? Thanks
