    Yes indeed - it's just as you exit the 'harbour' by boat .- on that mini island there

    Unless it is a trick of the light, it looks to dark to me for a juvenile Great BB Gull - see here for example. I suspect it might be a juvenile Herring or Lesser Black-backed Gull opportunistically following the GBB Gull and hoping for some scraps.
    On the boat rail
    For whatever reason, Rock Pipits seem to frequently visit boats. I have seen them flying out even considerable distances (2 or 3 kms) over the sea out to a boat, have a quick look around before flying back again.

    Yeah, definitely not a Great Black-back youngster. Possibly a Lesser BB Gull as it looks slightly pale for a Herring Gull, but there is some overlap.

    Yes,that's Eyebright as well.I live close to the Curragh in Co.Kildare and it's absolutely covered with it at the moment.It's a really pretty little plant.
