I just want to introduce myself; I'm Paul Smallwood poker Manager of Brucepoker.com. We are a new entrant to the market and hope to become an integral part of the Irish poker scene both live and online over the coming years.

With this in mind it was decided to sponsor an Irish player. For me Nicky Power was an obvious choice. Nicky is very popular among his peers and having played with him many times personally I always found his enthusiasm for the game infectious. While Nicky’s character is an attraction for us once this is coupled with his great skill and hunger for success it became an easy choice.

Bruce betting is one of Ireland's largest independent bookmakers and we are launching brucepoker.com on the Ongame network. We are on a soft launch at the moment and we will be fully launched within the next few weeks.

We will keep you informed on the launch and offers to our new customers over the coming weeks.

    Regards,
    Paul Smallwood
    Poker Manager

Software has some interesting bugs (as does Stars) but must admit I love the Ongame network.
Thrilled to see another skin that I can bonuswhore with.
    Welcome.

    Whose sig?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,709 ✭✭✭YULETIRED

Is it just me or is this thread soooo last week?

When Nicky steals your blind look on it as his brucey bonus...either that or reraise him, the feckr has nothing most of the time.

Can we please have a Boards comp to design Nicky "Stewie" Powers attire that he has to wear at some big tournie representing Bruce poker please? :) Now that could be fun....

Well done Nicky on securing this deal your blog has been consistently entertaining over the last year and your results speak for themselves. All the best. Olly

    Whose sig?

I thought using sigs or links like in the OP (the Bruce poker banner) was against the rules? I could be wrong of course.

Edit: Just noticed it's not actually a sig though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,537 ✭✭✭Ste05

I think it's OK... but just to clarify for everyone, now that it's been brought up, people are allowed 1 link in their sig for commercial purposes. Here's the rule for anyone wondering: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055066931

I’d like to thank everyone who wished me well in both threads. I’m very flattered by the amount of people who have taken the time to post and really appreciate it.

Thank you to Paul Smallwood and Brucepoker.com for this opportunity. I’ve known Paul for a number a number of years now and we have always been good mates so I’m looking forward to working with him over the coming year. I cant wait to get my teeth into my new roll for Brucepoker.com and cant think of a better place to start than my old stomping ground the Macau for the Classic festival.

It’s a great opportunity that Brucepoker.com have given me, I wish them every success in their new venture into the online poker market. I’m very proud to be representing such a well-respected and trusted Irish company as Bruce and hope to prove myself a worthy investment.

“The poker software and choice of games on offer are excellent and being involved with such a trusted and innovated outfit as Bruce’s is a great honor for me.”

Hehe, a media whore already :) Congratulations Nicky.

needless aside: "innovated" should be "innovative", and dunno why Cardplayer Europe uses the American spelling of "honour".
