Miss My chest day in gym....push ups sufficent?

    Hows it going?

The past couple of nights Ive had to miss the gym due to work commitments and the nights I have missed would be the nights I work on my chest. I have been making impressive gains on the chest considering this was the body part that I felt lacking when compared to the other parts of my body.

But the nights I have missed Ive been done a different variety of push ups at/from different angles and was just wondering if this would be sufficent enough just to get me through till next week when my schedule is back to normal. I feel as do all the hard work that I have been putting in will be wasted by me missing the gym.

    Any advice lads? Cheers:)

A change is probably no harm if you are doing the same thing each week. Are you able to keep them in a rep range you want, e.g. incline yourself so much you can only manage around 12? You could also do dips on chairs to work your chest, and the balancing on chairs works other muscles too. For inclines I found the stairs good.

Positioning your hands with no incline can make a lot of difference too, normal arms I can get around 70, put them together and I am down to 15 or so

If you find the desired rep range too easy throw on a weighted backpack for extra resistance. Try and get it so the weight is on your upper back.

Any exercise is better then no exercise, dips between two chairs is also a viable option
