I doubt you will. Argos are more, give elvery's a try but I reckon it would be more. Other option is second hand. World steel prices are going up all the time, see the news lately? people are robbing railway tracks and bridge suports around the world!

Irish lifting is a good price and good quality. Go cheaper and you take your chances.

Thanks, been looking about a fair bit and Elverys have the 140kg set for 260eur and a decent looking bench for 75eur, free delivery nationwide too so think will go with that.

    Cheers :)

Mickk who owns irish-lifting is a member here and sometimes gives members a special deal. If I was you I would email/pm him, tell him what you plan on getting in elvery's and see if he can make a better offer. No harm in asking. He was posting earlier in the thread about chinup bars.

That bench has a max weight of 95kg, not much point getting a 140set for it... Its just not the market I go for, aldi, lidl, elverys, argos and soon tescos I'm sure will have amazing value on benches and multigyms for the masses, thats their business. Similar to gym membership the 1% of people who buy it and actually use it will come to me or another specialist gym equipment retailer when the rubbish bench they originally bought falls apart... Its actually how I got into this business, had the **** bench and concrete weight set as a kd/teen and then went looking for some quality stuff and couldn't find any at decent prices so found it in the states and started selling it to others who had the same problem.
All my benches btw are rated for 450kg (1000lb) even the one for 129 euro here
