I'm guessing you're asking for festival season? :) Yeah it's okay but powder in your roots is just as good really. It's just for the roots. My sister had to use it years ago after getting stitches in her head and not being able to wash her hair, it'll get your roots through a couple of days anyway.

Yea your right! How did you know! :p

Yea i was told its a powder but does it not look all powdery then!

haha making up words there! :P

Used it years ago. Its not great. My hair is fine, and it kinda looked a bit frizzy and odd after using it, and still a little unwashed!

Perhaps theyve improved in the last few years though, who knows?

    Buy a hat. :p

Im male but I've long hair... its good enough to get me through a night out (not a whole day) whatever effect it has seems to disapear after a few hours and you will need to wash it after you use it for however long (or short) a period required.

Give the can a good shake before you spray it. Stick to the roots and don't put too much in. It'll probably look a little powdery at first, use your fingers to massage it in lightly and then brush it through.

It'll get you through a few hours, but it's not magic :P I bring it in my overnight bag just in case I don't have anywhere to wash my hair the next morning and it needs a little sprucing up before I get home.

jst use talcum powder FTW. it soaks up all the grease in your hair giving a just washed appearance. Just be careful not to use too much!! Always works for me!! :)

How many nights are you staying?

If you have thick hair you might get away with putting in a leave-in conditioner the morning you leave and tie up your hair, then the next day rinse it out at the taps or using a bottle of water and your hair should feel pretty clean without having to hog any taps and sudding up your hair in front of everyone :D

I've only used it a few times, found it pretty crap. Then again, I have very fine hair and lots of it, so it needs a wash at least every 36 hours. It's supposed to be great when you're getting an upstyle done as it gives much better grip than freshly washed hair on its own. *shrugs*

I really don't think it makes any difference - hair will still feel greasy but I'll tell myself that it doesn't look as bad! But then I really hate the feeling of my hair not being squeaky clean.

i find it quite bad tbh, just makes it worse!

i find it brilliant, i have short (goes to my jaw) dark brown hair, and its the biz, boots have loads of brands, but the boots brand itsself is the cheapest and best one!!!

Don't get the batiste coconut one, it stinks to high heaven.

The Toni & Guy one is kinda crap too tbh. It does the trick for a few hours bit I find talc powder works better as long as you don't put too much in.

Anyone know what the Boots brand of dry shampoo looks like? I'll be running to get it at lunch and I want to know what I'm looking for. Is it in the same section as other hair products?

yes, they'll have all the boots hair stuff together, i reckon bottom shelf is your best bet

i find it great. i wont wash my hair anymore frequently than every 3 days and it normally lasts the 3. but sometimes it'll be greasy on the 3rd day so i spray some of that in and it makes it last until the night when im washing it.
Its one of the coolest things ive discovered! dead handy!

I only use it if really stuck - not great for dark hair, same as the talcum powder trick. That said, would be the business for festival season when everyone is in the same boat!

If I'm stuck, I use Lush talc called 'silky underwear'. It smells gorgeous and does the job grand if you rub it in well.
