    hi all, i haven't properly trained since the nationals back in Jan until tonight :o i got under an empty squat bar and pulled almost every muscle in my leg ouch, my chest has still go a bit of power left i did a few warm ups and then 4 sets of 10 with 90kg i can all ready feel the pain im going to have tomorrow. but the lads reckon i should be back up there or there abouts after 10 weeks of training, i cant believe how the body gets so tight after what i would call a very light workout:mad:

    I was wondering what happened to you. It was like you just dropped off the face of the earth!! Lots of time to start training for nationals next year now!

    :) hi Hanley, yeah its been a while but im back. i started a new job and my wife had our 2nd baby so spare time was like hens teeth, hows the training going for you ?

    Ah well no one can say anything about your absence so!! Congrats!

    Training's going really well for me at the mo. Benched 180 for 3 singles yesterday, hoping to squat 245 2x2 tomorrow and deadlfit 245 2x2 on Friday too. This is gonna be my last heavy week before the IPO Leinster open in Hercs on the 26th. If all goes to plan I should pull together a big total.

    I'm sitting at about 97kg right and hoping to cut to 90 for the comp. Tbh the biggest risk factor going into this is the cut. If I can get my weight back up I should pull things off. If I don't... well it'll be a disaster.

    What's the plan for you anyway?? You gonna look at nationals next year, or try and pick something up later this year?
