    Hi,

I have been taking antibiotics this week (tooth problem) and I will be taking them for another 5 days - is it ok to work out in these days or should I rest until I finish with the antibiotics?

    Thank you.

You should have asked your doctor!!

Personally, I was taking anti-biotics for over 6 months and was fine to work out but it may be different for every person so I'd even give your doctor a call and ask would it be ok!!

I was taking some pretty hard hitting stomach meds for a period of 8 weeks last summer. They knocked the sh!t out of me but I was still ok in training.

As always, consult your doctor if you're not sure.

Bingo. There's a wide variety of antibiotics out there and each one will be likely to have individualised effects that only your Dr. can advise you on. Off the top of my head I can think of four that are used for tooth probelms and they're all quite different to eachother!

Best of luck, and hope whatever is wrong it isn't too bad - toothaches suck arsicles :o
