A spot of bruising on the bicep

After a pretty heavy session today I have noticed that there is a bit of extra stiffness and a tiny spot of bruising towards the outside. Would I be right in guessing that I slightly over done it and have given myself a burst blood vessel or a very minute tear?

I assume many have experienced such a thing...

    COULD be a tear

you COULD have hit it off something without realising it

    it COULD be dirt

There's no way of telling tbh.

If its too painfull to carry on whatever you are doing then you need to rest it awhile. If its a tear you will know about it..chances are you've pickedup a "mystery bruise".I get them after a night on the piss and they always seem to be on the bicep and i never know where they come from!
