The Dark Knigh - Movies.ie Competition, want tickets?

movies.ie are running the Dark Knight competition for a screening on the 22nd of July. (which i have entered!)

Given that most of us here are dying to see it and not all of us win tickets for screenings i though a thread where boardsie winners who want to share their spare tickets among non winners.

So basically if you win and willing to offer your spare ticket to a fellow non winning boardsie, please post here!

If i win, im willing to give up one of my tickets cos i know some of the boardsies would appreciate it more than if i was to bring someone else along!!

Good idea! I will be willing to give up a ticket to any one left without one if I win, and bagsies any spares going around otherwise :P

For those who don't remember, I gave up my two tickets to the premiere of Death Proof last year complete with appearance by Tarantino.

I totally deserve for someone to share their batman tickets with me...

We have the tickets here in our cold clamy hands, we're trying to decide if we should email winners or just post them out via An Post.

Getting them through the front door might be a nicer surprise than a boring old email.

what do i do?
i dont know what address i gave for the competition.
ya see i moved back to my mams last week.

the thing is i cant remember which address i gave

my mams or my old address.

if they are sending the tickets out in the post will they let us know by e-mail aswell? i doubt it! cause they hole idea is that it is a suprise in the post.
so if i win i wont know!

Don't think it's right to sell them.. maybe put all the spare tickets together and do a raffle type / random selection thing.

I was away on holidays when they announced this.
I'm absolutely gutted. Had been checking the site every day in case.
If there are two spares, I could conceivably kill for them.

. I'd say the majority will be arriving today or tomorrow. Here's hoping... Got an email for their Saturday screening of Man on Wire, but the Dark Knight is the one I want to find out about!!

Nope, tickets were in this mornings post.

Girlfriend just rang me there to say there was a white envelope for me.. so I told her to open it (don't know why.. was waiting on a couple of important letters) but she said it had 'Ireland's Newest Movie Website' on the top before she opened further, but I knew well what it was at that stage.

Will try and get time off work.. but it's doubtful!

woo hoo.....mine arrived this morning...can not bloody wait. Bear in mind people they are only the first round of ticket...theres more to come.

The assigned seating is a new twist though....row F...should be a good spot

Hi all,

As de5p mentioned, I've also entered, so if I get 2 tickets, they're going straight into the kitty for whoever might need them here. We'll all know more about where we stand in a couple of days when the post have sorted out their thang.

We should definitly have a beverage or two before or after.
