Ripped Workout

    Hi all, long time reader, first time poster.

    As Summer holiday time is fast approaching I thought I'd post this thread with a view to helping those who really want to get ripped and cut up.

    I was hoping that everyone who is in the cutting phase, or who has shredded before, would like to share their workouts and results. I.e: What worked for you, how long did it take, how impressed you were with your results, why you like the programme etc etc etc.
    Also, what do you find works better for you - heavy/light weights, compound movements/isolation excercises, high reps/low reps, full body workout/muscle specific and so on.

    We all know that a good clean diet and plenty of cardio are paramount to obtaining that chissled look, so no need to go into that here.


    Im on my holidays the first 2 weeks in August. My current workout is as follows:

    4 x supersets, 2 drop sets on the last set, 8-12 reps.

    Day one: Chest and Biceps

    - Bench press, bicep curls, abs, flys
    - Incline bench, incline db curls, abs, pushups

    Day two: back and triceps

    - Bent over row, 1 arm db rows, abs, skull crushers, tri kickbacks
    - lat pulldown, tricep pushdown, abs, low row

    Day three: Shoulders
    - military press, front raise, abs
    - dumbell press, abs, lateral raise, bent over raise

    Day four: Legs
    - Squats, curls, abs, lunges
    - leg press, calf raise, abs, extensions


    I have had great results with this workout but after four weeks of it I'm absolutly wrecked. I like the pump I get from it and the intensity aids my cutting. 4 weeks till I go so Im going to keep it up for the time being, possibly take this week off (as I have missed Monday and Tuesday) to rebuild and rest the body. Just going to do mid level cardio this week.
