I think this might be a bit of fun. I'll post up a bit of a Rock/Metal album cover and whoever the guesses the album correctly posts up the next one.

Obviously, considering the broad range of musical tastes of posters here, try not to pick really obscure stuff.

This is actually a lot harder than I thought . The only cover I've had a clue about so far was the Smashing Pumpkins one and I recognised that straight away.

Yeah, it pretty tough but could be more fun with some minor changes. I think a time limit should be introduced, say 24 hours where the poster of the cover gets to post another if no one gets it. If they don't give the answer in the time limit they loose their go and anyone can dive in with the next cover. What do you think Ghost?

Yeah, things like this don't go very far when people try to be too obscure with their choice. We could all pick rare unheard of artists to put album covers of up, but what's the point if nobody can get them?

I think you're right, that might be a better idea but just not too strict with the 24 hour rule.

I'll give it away: The A side of the original release is one of the finest slices of vinyl know to man, 2 tracks are played almost every time they play to this day, the others alternate between tours. The b-side isn't bad either. It was the first release of the year it was released. All the key elements of the cover reflect the title in quite literal ways.
