I want to spice up the love life with my girlfriend so have decided to purchase a vibrator (for her!!). Just wondering if anyone could recommend me one? I saw a durex one (called magic wand or something) in one of her girly mags and it won some award. thanks.

Have you asked her if she already has one?

I live with her so I know for a fact she doesn't have any. I don't want to spend too much money in case she doesn't like it and I have to bring it back to the shop !!!!

Maybe you should just ask her first, if you're not satisfied with your sex life, you should talk about it with her rather than spring something on her she might not like.

Its not that I'm not happy. I thought it would be a fun thing to buy. We have already bought the vibrating ring (Can't remember the name) in Boots and that was fun, but a little expensive for a once off.

You can get a better one in ann summers. Its not the durex one but AS brand, think its cheaper. And you can also get one that isnt a "use once then throw away" thing. With controls and remote control.

If its her first one you might wanna go easy? Maybe take her shopping with you?

I would deffo ask her how she feels about getting one. Be sure you want one tho...because you cant take it back to the shop like you said. Thats just ewwwwwww:confused:

Have a look at Ann Summers website for ideas. Or there is a thread in S&S about the same thing.

is there any particular one that you'd recommend or looks good?! I don't think I'll bring her shopping with me cos she'd be too afraid anyone would see her. She loved the vibrating ring thing so I'll just have to convince her!!

I think its down to persoanl choice tbh.

Go to the website, let her pick something then you go in and get it yourself. Nothing to be embarressed about tbh if anyone sees her.

Myself and himself were in Ann Summers last weekend. These days you can get a vibrator that you hook up to your mp3 player / i-pod and it vibrates in time to the beat!

We ended up getting a "finger rabbit" and little pocket vibrator.

You should definitely broach the subject with her with regards what she would like. You might know that she deffo wants one, but they come in different lengths and widths and she's the only one that will know which one is going to suit her.
Another poster suggested going away for the weekend, I would agree with that suggestion. Combine the two ideas and take her to Amsterdam or somewhere similar. Would recommend Amsterdam mostly for it's relaxed attitude to things, and the wide range of choice. Would recommend Beate-Uhse (not sure on the spelling), they're quite an upmarket shop and don't just stick to one or two brands, which Ann Summers can do at times.

Rampant Rabbit Deluxe ftw. That's all I'm saying.;)

Ann Summers or online, excellent investment.

Ann Summers..... They'll advise.. I would suggest starting off with a clitoral stimulator first.
