    I'm looking to get a digital camcorder to monitor lifting form, has anyone any experience using them? It's just for personal use so i don't need anything top of the range... any recommendations?

    I video (well video'd) all of my training lifts on my Sony DSC-P200

    It did a great job and I had the camera for over 3 years. Sadly I dropped it onto it's lens last week so I'm in the market for a new one and will DEFINATELY be buying another Sony model.

    I'm currently looking at this as a replacement;

    It's incredibly cheap and it does pretty much everything my old camera did. I was perfectly happy with the performance of the DSC-P200 and don't see the point in paying for any extra bells and whistles on a camera that's gonna be thrown into my gym bag and just generally be give a rough time!

    EDIT: Also looking at this, http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/928253/art/sony/cyber-shot-dsc-w150-black.html It seems to have a better video quality...

    That is a great camera, my mate has one, and another one got them after seeing it. Others also got sonys and all were really good.

    I just used my crappy phone camera, wedged upright with some books.
