Does anyone know if there is anywhere in Dublin that still sells the DIY Lucozade?
It was a powder that came in like a 500ml tub and you just mixed some with water to make your own Lucozade.
Haven't seen it in about a year and a half now and it was handy and cheaper than buying bottles of Lucozade...

Boots and JJB sell it. It's about 4 euro dearer in JJB though.

Im pretty sure Mi-wadi diluted in water with a pinch of salt is the equivalent to lucozade sport

    MUCH cheaper than both!

Yes, pretty much. Lucozade and most energy drinks use dextrose/glucose. It is less sweet than sugar so you can palate stronger versions. e.g. lucozade has something like 16-18% carbs, while coke is 11%.

So you could get glucose in the babyfood or baking section and mix with other drinks. Some use that Lo-lo salt which is a blend of sodium chloride (normal table salt) and potassium chloride.

I expect supplement shops have cheaper alternatives than lucozade powder too.
