In the midst of my outdoor run, a 5km ish loop, there are a set of parallel bars.

Today I stopped and did a few sets of dips and rows (did these hanging under the parallel bars, ankles hooked on one bar, touching chest to bar as rowing up to the other)

Any suggestions for other bodyweight exercises I can do on these parallel bars? For info - they are about shoulder width apart and up to around mid stomach on average sized fellow.

You could probably get some really deep push-ups done, with your feet over the side of each bar.

I do L-sits, leg raises. You can vary your body position during dips to make them harder. You can get lots of ideas on youtube.

    This guy has some videos

    Just type in dip variatons/variant/modified

Also look at Olympic parallel bar videos. I am working at doing a planche next.

rubadub please don't do your planches like that as you're just making it difficult if you do :pac:

Cheers emmet, I am only starting out trying them, I had my elbows sort of supporting myself, and just holding legs out behind me, then sort of going into a handstand. My upper back between the shoulder blades felt it the next day, in a good way. I have been doing front levers too.

If you have any sites worth checking out please let me know.

    these are good sites.

I remember a while back you were at 30 secs in a tuck planche, have you worked on it much since?
