Is it a good idea to do some push ups, sit ups and core exercises before going to bed? should you eat some protein after doing these exercises?

or would it be better to do it earlier in the day?

    thoughts please

or would it be better to do it earlier in the day?As above

exercising earlier in the day will help you sleep better, but exercising right before you go to bed can do the opposite

I don't eat anything for the 3 hours before bedtime. Your evening should be a wind down to bed, then you sleep better.
First thing is the time for work out, your stomach will be empty and energy levels are on the rise. Follow some push ups with core workout with a protine shake mixed with some fruit, you'll be fit for the day.
