Changing maps to US?

hey guys.... this is probably the most retarded question ever... but just want to confirm something. I'm about to buy the Navigon Porsche Design P9611 (note: any thoughts on that model let me know too) with all the european maps. I'm going to the states for a stint of 6 weeks pretty soon... so would like to have the maps…

hey guys.... this is probably the most retarded question ever... but just want to confirm something.

I'm about to buy the Navigon Porsche Design P9611 (note: any thoughts on that model let me know too) with all the european maps.

I'm going to the states for a stint of 6 weeks pretty soon... so would like to have the maps for US for the trip. Is it as easy as just downloading the maps, putting them on an SD card and loading that in the Sat Nav??
