    Anybody know if the sauna is actually good for you? What are the benefits?? Anyone recommend using it?

    Opens your pores and lungs.

    Improved bloodflow & thus faster recovery.

    There are also many impurities/toxins found in sweat so it stands to reason that profuse sweating may increase the elimination of various toxins from the body.

    THese are just thoughts off the top of my head though. I havent done any research into the real scientific evidence of such benefits.

    don't have the science behind it but I sure as hell feel really good after a work out, sauna, cold shower, sauna and cold shower again.

    I find it certainly helps recovery.
