Groin Strain Injury

    Hi,

I strained my groin muscle near the end of march. I have been going to a physio since then. Initially I was told I would be back playing football in a couple of weeks. Yet I am still going to the physio! And as well as not being able to play football it is becoming an expensive injury.

I have been following all the exercises, stretches they gave me. But each time they tell me to begin kicking a football the muscle feels sore again.
Any advice?? Any one any experience with this injury?

    Thanks!

If you're not happy with your physio or not recovering, seek another professional opinion. This is not a forum for medical instruction, not too many people can diagnose over the net. Go see a professional.

OP, I'd agree, go to another physio. Plenty of people here can recommend someone near to you.

You do also have to remember that it depends on the severity of the strain aswell and what condition your body was in at the time.
