Someone posted a video here a few months back of a certain exercise from the training of the movie 300. ("THIS. IS. SPARTAAAA!!!" and so on and so forte).

It involved two light dumbbells, press-up position, clean right db, clean left db, then press-up, then (I think), jump feet into body, stand and clean both dumbbells.

Can't find the vid anywhere, on youtube etc and can't find it here - not in "Impressive Fitness Vids" sticky where I assumed I'd seen it.

    Anyone help?

    Thanks

Sounds a bit like "man makers" or "dumbbell burpees". Have you tried Gym Jones' website?

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOIZeNj9pBc

This is what I was looking for - not the original video I saw, but the exercise I had in mind.

Try them with 16kg kettlebells. The push ups and rows are really hard cos you're trying not to let the bells tip over. I wasn't trying to be hardcore I just didn't have dumbells to do them with!

Gotta crawl before you can walk Roper - I did em with 12.5kg dbs on Sunday and almost died!... they were even the dumbbells with the edge on them so I didn't have to worry about balancing them so they wouldn't roll out from under me... :o
