    Don't know if to post this here but every time my computer does a norton scan check and gets to about 195,000-200,000 files checked, the screen goes black and I can't access the pages i was on and in order to get everyting back I have to restart computer and nope its not the screen saver

    check your log and see if you can find out which was the last file that was scanned, this is porbably the source.

    It will depend on the version of norton that you are running but normally there will be a reporting section on the norton console that will give you access to logs, refer to your user guide or help file
