    Hey,

Been having a bit of problems with any chest work Im doing lately. Wheather it be bench or push up I cant seem to direct any pressure onto my chest. My back and shoulders seem to take all the strain. For the last week Ive tried my hands in god no's how many places. Ive had my training partner just checking my chest for strain while benching but theres very little. As far as he can see my technique looks grand. Evan if i loose all weight and just the bar and just keep going, it'll again be my arms and back. Any ideas where I may be going wrong?

And seccondly, seperate point. Was training yesterday n really was WRECKED! Only thought about it this morning and realised a had a real lack of carbs yesterday. My oats for breakie were the only thing i had carb wise except for an apple 5 mins b4 work out. Recon that could be my problem. Usally eat VERY well, just tryn to pin point what went wrong yestreday

Try using a wider grip. If you're not try benching with your elbows more flared. Or just use DB presses.

and just to clarify something. when you feel the hit in general chest work, is it normal to feel very very little in lower chest and most in the mid pectorial (ie arm pit level)

when your bring the bar down what part of your chest is it on? Is it above or below your nipple-line?

stop mayb and inch from my chest and an inch from my nipple (towards my head that is)

someone was telling me i might be turning my shoulders into, this possible?

coincidently, on dips, unlike my training partner, i dont feel my chest either. really get a nice burn in my traps, lats and triceps, bt nothing in my chest.
