    Hello,

As my location seems prohibitive for gaming. I was thinking about giving skype a go, anyone used it for a game at all? Do you think it would be suitable?

    Thanks, :)

    B.

Not a huge fan of Skype, I find Ventrilo and Team Speak are much better options.

    Hi CG,

Thanks for the reply.... I tried skype once and found it very bad quality.

Do you have to pay for the other one, whats the quality like?

    Thanks,

    Rob.

Well, it looks like my luck is in with Skype. And I highly recomend anyone try it if they can't get a face-to-face rpg going.

I've been playing a few games over the last few months, mostly guys from Europe, and the UK (just to keep the GMT straight). I'm currently running CoC, Delta Green, and WFRP II - enemy within campaign. And all are going well!:)

Skype's quality on the whole is pretty good. A few nights the voices have been a bit robotic, but over all it's generally decent quality. It's dead easy to use, and you can transfer files and pics, etc.

So on the whole it 'aint much different from playing beside your mates.
