Spirulina - thoughts?

A couple of friends of mine swear by this stuff, so I started taking it a while ago, mostly to try to stave off colds. I haven't gotten any colds since I started taking it (probably 4 months ago), which could be down to the time of year - I'd usually be more prone to them in the run up to Christmas.

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on Spirulina? I'm not taking any other vitamins / multivitamins

i started taking the stuff back in october and i was amazed at how much it helped. Ive always been prone to flu's and colds.I only got a little sniffle all Christmas.
    Echinacea is brilliant too.

It's very good for you, but absolutely minging. It tastes like mud. When you put it into a smoothie, the smoothie turns the most unappetising shade of dark green. If you can stomach it, take it.
