I got full marks on the first bit, same as last time on the last bit and dropped a few on the second part. Overall I'm a few points down from last year's result.

Still a pass is pass :D

:( Was not expecting to see this today.

If it goes like last time, it will be pass emails today and fails tomorrow.

Still early Gee. They'll probably continue to send these over the next hour or so.

Hope you are right. After the last year or two I've found it hard to remain positive with the process. Time will tell.

Congrats to everyone who has passed.

lol, think I was the one skim reading. You were right; I just read the answer and not the question. Good job they didn't do that in the IST

Let's blame it on all the excitement of the early emails :D

That's how I'm looking at it. That's how it played out last time. But you never know.

Oh well....that's not the greatest news lol....next time perhaps although with the funding cuts it doesn't look like there will be a next time for a good few years!!

They gave Sept for results for a reason plus there's feck all anyone can do about their results now - what will be will be. I can imagine it's been gutting for ya but unless you're too old, there's still time.
What did you score last campaign bud & was that a new IST format too?

No. Until told otherwise you're still here. They send the emails out in batches; could be grouped by IST result or location or even by candidate age, who knows.

More emails will be sent out over the next few days. Don't forget they're replying to thousands of people so it's unlikely they send ALL the passes in one night.

I know it's easy for me to say but stay positive until you get your email :)

Well done everyone and good luck to the rest of you. Results days are the worst!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35 Graciehart

Thanks for that. Just working out in my head how i could get so many wrong if I got below 48 as even taking into consideration the ones I left out it's still a massive chunk to fail on....

    What will be will be!!

Did you go for it again Dekkers?? Or was once enough punishment and torture for you lol?!!

Guys and girls I hate to say it but when it comes to PSNI recruitment there's no hard rules, some have been waiting for months and months to hear about PCA dates and receive vetting forms, some have been waiting just as long for vetting to clear and that illusive call to hotel GV. I know it's exciting and some of this is new to you but seriously your patience will be tested beyond belief. What goes for one person on this doesn't automatically apply to someone else. I've sat crying every time I see the "I'm in" messages posting on "the wait" thread.

My best advice and I so wish I'd done it myself with the 2013 campaign is to forget about the recruitment. Start training for your PCA now cos there's plenty of fit people who didn't pass. Just continue with your life, don't put anything on hold. You'll probably be in for such a long wait so book the holidays, training courses, jobs etc whatever it is you want to do and so what if you have to rearrange a date, it won't be the end of the world. I missed out on so much this summer cos I was certain my AC score was good enough to get a call and I'm still waiting and thinking fcuk I should have done x, y and z!!!!

Patience my lovelies, they said you will know by 8th September and there's a few days left until then!! Good luck and remember "if it's meant for you, it won't pass you"

You're in Limbo with me now aren't you?

Last time it was the passes first and then the fails after I know because I failed last time and was gutted, so much that I never came back to this site for months and months.

Its easy for me to say now having passed but anyone still waiting, until you actually have the email I would try and stay positive, as some have said still a long way to go until the 8th Sept.

Gee, I've been lurking here since 2010 and only came onto the forum last year. That year I was frozen out just like you, last year I failed by one mark just like you. This will be your year, relax mate I reckon you'll be grand! And did you check your spam folder just in case?
