I did mine on 21st, the first day of tests - 4 weeks ago today but I am desperately going to try and wait the whole calender month until I phone. I.e. i shall phone them at 901am on Thursday :D

same here, not even giving the results a thought though. i know what to expect timewise and the best thing to do is forget about it til the letter arrives

To cliffy33: Text speak is against the charter and is not allowed on this forum.

Get into the habit of using the correct spelling of the words you use. You want to join the police, and your spelling and grammar must be 100% accurate at all times for your paperwork.

Thats kind of impossible though when its something you want so badly and think about everyday lol

I have to admit it. I've lost my bottle, my stomach and honestly a little bit of my self respect.

    I'm throwing in the towel.
I don't think I can go on with joining the PSNI - that article in the paper, the fact that I'd be watching over my shoulder each time I leave the house and the fact that I would be worrying for my other half every time I leave her on her own. Maybe I'd have made a different decision if I was single, living on my own - or if I wasn't from the republic. I won't ever know that.
Good luck to everyone going forward to their next respective stages. Be safe.

You have made a hard decision which im sure wasnt easy for you but it is your decision and i think everyone on the boards here will respect you for that mate, all the best to you in whatever you do!!!;)

HA HA!!!! Absolutely brilliant. The amount of people that talk to me like that in my job is unbelievable. I agree with PSNI, you are trying to get into a self respecting job at least make the effort to have respect for yourself and other people reading your posts. Not long for results now. I really hope they come before the weekend. Good luck everyone.

There's just no better way to get yourself banned from a forum than to abuse a mod. Sadly, he won't be joining us again.

Oh well, at least now he knows who I am.

For those wondering where some of your posts went, they were deleted, because peterpeter3 was the same person as cliffy33. Both of these accounts are now site banned by a boards.ie administrator.

    Normal service will now resume...
