    Distance from CP to P1, swung from C1, and 1 on the circumference to P1, swung from 1 on the Line AB.
    etc etc


    Using a tracing paper to roughly locate the points first is great help.

    I attached a picture of the solution, in the elevation they have 40mm parallel from the cone i circled it in red. What is that about? maybe i learned a different method but where did the 40mm come from?

    Thats just the centre of the Ghost Hemisphere, which is dropped to plan and swund around to find the CP of it.
