Ok so im new here so bear with me. Im 25 yo female, 5ft 6 and weigh 13stone 5 1/2 lbs. This time last year i was a stone heavier but i lost it doing weight watchers at home.
The thing is i just cant get motivated again!!!! I had my son 7 years ago  and before i had him i weighed 9 1/2 stone at the most.
The weight is really getting me down. although i must say that people are quite shocked when i tell them what i weigh as i seem to carry it well ( although not on the jelly belly).
The thing is I really dont think im eating that bad, ill give an example
breakfast: 2 lean rashers and fried egg in spray oil with oj/ cereal and oj/smoothie

    snack: mandarin/apple/banana

lunch : 2 bread (mainly white) with lf butter and lf mayo with either ham or chicken, piece of fruit, maybe a lollipop to keep away the sweet pangs

snack : when i get home could be a biscuit or 2/ coffee

dinner : baby potatoes, chicken, fish, veg, salad, stir fry

I have a very savoury tooth and really like crisps and buns but i hardly buy then therefore cant eat them!

weekends are a killer cos i really enjoy my wine, might get a pizza with the bf or a curry usually on a fri or sat and could prob end up going out for dinner on a sunday!

I really need a kick up the backside big time now as its just not on and there is no excuse for me being this size as i wasnt before i had my son. Dont get me wrong i am under no illusions to be back to the size i was as to me thats just not possible now, but even to get to 10 1/2 / 11 stone i would be delighted.

I work mon to fri, am a single mother so dont get much time to exercise, i do have an exercise bike at home but rarely use it, its gathering dust in my room. when i get home from work and collect my son i am just so shattered that the thoughts of any exercise just goes right out of my head!!!!

I would really appreciate some feedback on my diet, things i can improve on, just suggestions in general as i really am at my wits end at the moment!!!

I feel for you tubbymummy (please change your user name, I feel awful writing that down!) It's tough when you start to feel down about your weight.

You say that you don't have time for exercise, I think a lot of people think that in order to exercise they have to be down the gym, if your son is 7, what about getting outside with him and kicking a ball or throwing a frisbee? You'd be amazed how much exercise this would give you! I know it can be hard to motivate yourself after a tough days work, but once you're out there, i'm sure you'd both enjoy it! Best of luck!

I think you answered yourself there!

From the sounds of it you know exactly where you are falling down. Its not easy but if you really want to lose weight you have to cut back on the take aways and exercise more.

Maybe only allow yourself your takeaway/dinner out every second weekend? And only then if you have done x amount of exercise that week (I find this a good motivator when the last thing I want to do is work out. I tell myself that if I put in a good hour I can go out for dinner on Friday/have an extra glass of wine etc).

If the bike is no longer working for you maybe try a different form of exercise, ideally something enjoyable. Is there something you could do with your child at weekends, maybe cycling or swimming, or just running around the park with a ball? That would cut out the need for a babysitter.

Well done on losing a stone already, that is a big achievment. You can do this!
