About 8/9 years older. If I had to choose, I prefer older, but not something I care much for - despite all the talk I don't find it makes a blind bit of difference provided there's a good spark with those being compared.

Said girl was there with someone who on closer inspection appeared to be more Grandmother than Mother. In the truest moment of wingman-dom in the history of Top Gun, I distracted said Granny. She said she was 64 but tbh might have been a wee bit older. It can truly be said I took one for the team. We call her my Polish Goat Lady because of the slight beard issue and friends still delight in telling girlfriends about it to this day.
