    (Cliff notes at bottom)

I am having trouble figuring out what the best way to go about my Pre agus PWO diets for when I train in the evenings(never done it before).

I am hone at about 6:30 and try hit the gym by 8:45 or after but I am struggling to have decent meals to eat.

Pasta, meat, potatoes, rice(Yay or nay) are all the obvious choices but often I just soon a **** load of porride into me. Any other suggestions on what I could have? or what I should avoid. From reading BB forum I should be aiming for .25g/lb TBW(total body weight) for carbs + protiens and then get some fats into me.

However It's mainly my PWO diet that is troubling me. Once I finish it take me 30minutes at least to get home so I always took a protein shake straight after my workout( I negelted carbs really until I got home) but now I see getting carbs straight away is just as important.

So what's good to have with my PWO shake for carbs fruit wise? Would a banana be sufficent or should I just buy a PWO supplement like RAM or something?

Another problem is by the time I get home it's about 10pm and having just shake wont fill me so what's best to eat before I go to bed? Something like a tuna sandwhich or eggs be a good choice?

**** me this is long, sorry.

    cliff notes
    - What else apart from porridge to eat before workout?
    - Banana good as Postworkout Carb intake with protien shake or use carb supplement??
    - what to eat just before bed time?

    1) I've never actually thought about this to be honest. I either go training after breakfast or around 5 in the evening. So I just make sure to eat. That's it!!

    2) Simple carbs source. Lucozade, dextrose, glucose or a "recovery" carb/protein drink

    3) I'm drinking a shake made with 200ml of milk and 25g of whey, I'll chase that down with another 300ml of milk and that's me done.

Cool cheers man, I have a plan then. After all my veg adding up to around 30 - 40g of carbs a day, I'll use the PWO to make up the rest of the carbs to have around 80 grams a day. Thanks!
