Since we are gonna have a month of it, perhaps a thread could come in handy?

It was class tonight, especially the last one...''I'll tell ye he's a star''

    Just so funny.

I only caught the Andy Gray/Richard Keys spoof which I thought was very good plus the both of them looking into the camera at the end. :D

I thought Brady's 'I wouldn't have come on here tonight if I knew you were going to say that' was the best. Hopefully that wounds still not too raw.

works for me anyway..do you have realplayer?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,640 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Yeah the player worked for me. I loved the bit about Ronaldo being a star. 'Is he as big a star as say, Donald Sutherland'? :D

I saw the Andy Gray parody, very good. I missed the one after the Portugal match though.

    Can't wait for the 3rd/4th place play-off match! :D

I liked the 'Sellotanta' spoof today. Anything mocking Pat Dolan gets a thumbs up from me. :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,103 ✭✭✭estebancambias

He did that presenter's accent amazing.

Liam Brady: If I had of know you were going to that, I wouldn't have come on tonight. :D

I was a little disappointed with the Setanta Sports skit. Pat Dolans comments were too clear and too valid to be realistic :p

The latest one with the Souness, Whelan and Brady is the best!

Just watched the four skits on RTE.

    Brilliant.

The Liam Brady character is excellent.

"If I'd have known you were going to do that I wouldn't have come on tonight".

    Just classic.

And the Souness wig, lol :D:D

I reckon that line is going to be an on-going one throughout the tournament. In fact, it could even seep into everyday life e.g, Mr Alan, if i knew you were gonna post an opinion like that, i'd never have logged on here today etc etc etc

Check out the Andy Gray/Richard Keyes parody if it's there, I think it was the first sketch of the tournament.

i feel like i'm licking a stale ryvita..

doing it live after games is brilliant, they've never done that before have they?

i'm still laughing at "dunphys" line from opening day "if that's all portugal has to offer, i say vote no to lisbon"

Can these only be viewed from Irish IP addresses?

I have a friend in Holland who used to live here and loves this stuff, but no point sending him the link if he cant view it.

The one from the tv3 celebrity show yea?

Didn't think it was that bad...if you ever have the misfortune of watching that show, apres match picked up some good shots of it.

Wasn't Brady actually slagging himself about that the other night too? Think Dunphy mentioned and they had a laugh about it.

    Think they have.

apres match live is something to see, when they have to make it up on the spot sometimes it is funnier than when they have it written! i saw them in vicar street during the world cup, it was amazing! and they are playing the iveagh gardens as part of the carlsberg comedy carnival and i would reccomend everyone go! (note to mods: relax both gigs i have just mentioned are aiken promotions gigs)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 41,926 ✭✭✭✭_blank_

Amen to that, I've seen it live too. Extremely funny.

Yeah classic. "Ronaldo does this, right. But....but.....now we know he does that. We know that. We know he does that........"

Richard Keys: with the little smirk on his face that he always has on him.."What exactly is the point you're making, Andy?"

"Well, we know he does that. We know that...."
