If you could have anyone's talent for one thing, what would it be?

Was thinking about this, as someone who wants to make a name as a painter, I reckon I'm comfortable with my abilities in that aspect.

Taking Messi's/Kaka's ability at soccer would be an easy bread winner but I don't think I'd be up for the demands of the footballer's lifestyle. I wouldn't like the attention they get eiter.

I think I'd go for either Richard D James' or Jonny Greenwood's abilities as musicians. I don't play anything myself but love music and reckon it would be incredibly rewarding to make the stuff they do. Also, I doubt these guys are hounded as much as footballers or ****tier musicians.

To be able to throw a notice-worthy pout.

Seems to be a lot of young 'celebs' goin round famous for nothing other than throwing a moody puss and getting snapped for it. Who needs talent?

A talent that could make me an insane amount of money.

So probably a footballer, Ronaldos talent.

I hate the game, and the player, but you can't go wrong with the crazy amount of money they are paid.

Since someone else wished for the looks of a supermodel,I'll pick that aswell. To look like Markus Schenkenberg or Mark Vanderloo would be class.Failing those,I woudnt mind looking Josh Holloway(Sawyer from Lost)

People here would ACTUALLY take being good looking (something completely subjective) over being good at something worthwhile?

TBH,i think that if you dont think that Josh Holloway is good looking, you are crazy.Same with Schenkenberg and Vanderloo.I mean you are sorted for women if you look like them and have a body like them

it's a bit superficial and shallow yes, but it opened doors for many into the modeling and acting world did it not ? but yes not necessary a talent in itself

Or you could compose great symphonies or paint pictures that make people break down into tears... You could change the face of physics or write stories that change the way people think.

I have no idea what those guys look like and I'm not googling them because I'm not gay but I'm pretty sure Helen of Troy was the only person to actually make any iota of difference with her looks... and by todays standard would probably be a dog.

If we're talking about attributes in general, I wouldn't mind having Patrick Stewart's voice.

But we're not talking about attributes in general, we're talking about talent. A talking voice isn'ta talent. Unless you're a chimpanzee. Come on Hungus, don't let yourself be led astray by the off topic rabble.

On topic Pighead would love the poise grace and creepiness of Michael Jacksons circa the moonwalk years.

One could beg to differ, look at Morgan Freeman for example, narration is a talent, and his voice is the basis for that talent.

    These guys are talented:

Nope, no dice buddy. You can throw as many You Tube videos at Pighead as you want. Speaking is not a talent.

If we declare speaking a talent the floodgates will open. We'll have 6th coming on announcing how his strange facial hair is actually quite talented, we'll have Rozie re-regging to let us know that whilst she may have been whiny it was actually quite talented whining and thus deserved respect. We'll have Quality coming in telling us that getting pregnant wasn't anything to be sniffed at and the fact she let her fella stick his todger up her love zone was actually an act of supreme talent.

    Nope no dice pal.

.. in this day and age, speaking properly is a talent... If one can speak with a certain tone and clarity, it has being known to have an attractive quality.

Why do you think so many young women like a wrinkley old sean connery.

If you can impersonate peoples voices you can make alot of money.. just ask that Irish guy that does Jose "the special ones" voice on Setanta Sports and gift grub.

Hmmm that's a difficult one. On one hand there is the close quarters combat abilities of someone like Mirko Filipović. Being able to kick most people's asses and knowing that if a scumbag tries it on with you he'll probably end up with a broken arm and brain damage, that's quite appealing to me. However similar to what kold said, I'm not sure if I'd be up for the rigors of fighting to make a living and risking serious injury every time. Also I'd probably end up looking/sounding like Sylvester Stallone after enough years doing it.

But then on the artistic side the songwriting abilities, musicianship or vocal capabilities of a successful musician would be pretty amazing. Yes, I think I would like the talent of Eddie Vedder. At least I could learn a martial art and become reasonably competent, I could never write a song like Eddie Vedder does.

Because with that voice you just know by the time he's finished whispering in your ear you'll be weak at the knees, and putty in his very experienced, and I suspect very expert hands.....
